  • Art Fast 2017

    Art Fast is a 9-day creative festival inspired by a South-East Asian festival called Navaratri which celebrates the divine creative energy that resides within all of us. Rejuvenate and experience this creative spirit in you by participating in Art Fast in the following two ways:

    1. Online participation. Indulge in a creative fast by challenging your creative self for 9-days by either bringing upon constraints into your creative practice or by exploring a new creative interest. Later share their process with the community which serves as a source of inspiration and contemplation for all. You can be in any corner of the world to do this.

    2. Physical participation. Participate in events organized in New York City that celebrate the spirit of the festival. The uniquely designed events will help you experience another culture and are led by passionate creatives like artists, designers, performers and writers.   • Who Cares?

    Who Cares? focuses on the multiple interpretations of care. The work spans the personal and political, the intimate and the collective. This group exhibition includes the work of A.I.R. Members Susan Bee, Liz Biddle, Daria Dorosh, Yvette Dubinsky, Maxine Henryson, Carrie Johnson, Cynthia Karasek, Jayanthi Moorthy, Catherine Mosley, Ann Pachner, Ann Schaumburger, Kathleen Schneider, Negin Sharifzadeh, Joan Snitzer, Susan Stainman, Erica Stoller, Nancy Storrow, and Jane Swavely.
